Licensing Requirements
There are licensing requirements for all businesses providing services or goods. If you are a Professional Wedding Planner and are working within the city limits, you must have a current City of North Myrtle Beach business license. This holds true even if your business is located out of town. All licenses must be available upon request by a city official. Any person or company you hire to provide services or goods must also possess a valid city license. This includes, but is not limited to:
Caterers
Officiates
Photographers
Rental Services
Videographers, etc.
If you are managing your own wedding and are hiring any business or individual to provide professional services, they must possess a valid city business license. Please contact our Business License Division at 843-280-5585 to enquire about valid licenses or for a list of currently licensed providers. Please remember that you are responsible for ensuring that all regulations and ordinances are followed.
Ministers who are not being paid for their services, e.g., ministers from your home town, are not required to possess a city license to marry you.
Wedding Location
You may not reserve a place on the beach for your wedding. If you go to a certain location on the beach to hold your wedding, and you discover that another wedding group is already there, you can either move your wedding to another location or wait for your turn. Hundreds of beach weddings are held in North Myrtle Beach each year and we encourage you to be prepared, flexible and patient.
Remember: No individual, provider, or company can monopolize any set location. Although more weddings may be scheduled, the beach cannot be reserved. It is always available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
You may not insist on beachgoers moving from where they are when you arrive for your beach wedding. If you want to hold your wedding ceremony in a certain location and someone is already enjoying the beach at that location, you may ask them to consider a temporary move while you hold your ceremony, but they are not required to grant your request.
Your wedding must be held at least 25 feet from any public beach access. Beach walkovers and beach access points are for all to enjoy; please don’t hold your wedding ceremony on a beach access walkover or block the beach in front of a walkover. You must also leave room for emergency and beach patrol vehicles to pass on the dune side of your set-up.
Absolutely do not locate near sea turtle nesting areas. Any disturbance could jeopardize the future use of the beach as a wedding site.
Be aware that Cherry Grove Oceanfront Park (at Towers on the Grove) is a city park, not a private park. While it is a popular wedding location, it is also a public space. You may ask people to consider making a temporary move from the park while your wedding ceremony occurs, but they do not have to move, and other people have the right to walk through or settle in the park during your wedding ceremony. Remember, the passage through the beach walkover must be kept open at all times.

Mutiny Bay Miniature Golf
Mutiny Bay Mini Golf in North Myrtle Beach is part of the Paradise Adventure Golf family.
They are best known for its enormous pirate’s ship, “The Jolly Roger”, that can be seen along Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach. They have very nice courses with sound effects, visually appealing, and beautiful plant life.
The courses are clean, and the landscape is well-tended. The courses were equally challenging and opportunities for pros to show off. They offer two different courses, the first course is cool and has a pirate show every 30 minutes. The second course is good as well, there were different fun things with each hole. Another fun twist was turning your ball in at the end of the course. You had a chance to win different prizes.
The desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Aloha Mini Golf
Aloha Mini Golf courses are kept up in a way that is appealing to those who want a consistent putting experience. The subtlety of the hole design makes it an ideal course for a competition but after a while, the holes feel a bit simplistic.
Their tropical theme is smartly executed, and they have a Massive volcano that rumbles and displays real fire throughout the day/night.
The turf and holes are well maintained, and their course is where you can measure yourself against the best mini golfers in the world. They also have an arcade and gift shop that includes a number of mini golf goods like trophies, balls, coloring books and more.
Ultimately, this course and overall mini golf complex is a most worthy visit amongst the droves of mini golf options in town.
Crow Creek Golf Club
Crow Creek Golf Club was created by architect Rick Robbins, a former Jack Nicklaus design associate. It has a charming layout set in the beautiful southern countryside.
Since opening in February 2000, Crow Creek has become one of the most popular destinations for golfers visiting the Grand Strand. They offer an enjoyable challenge for resort players from the regular tees, and the championship tees stretch the layout to more than 7,101 yards for low-handicap players.
Crow Creek’s practice facilities are excellent, as one would expect from a course that has a sizable membership in addition to its yearly vacation contingent of golfers. The practice facility includes a large grass driving range and two practice greens where players can hone their putting and chipping before and after their appointed rounds.
The charming southern style clubhouse offers a full-service restaurant bar and grill, a top area pro shop, and a gorgeous outdoor veranda where guests can enjoy the views.

Pete Dye Golf Course
Pete Dye Golf Course has a visually stunning design that is filled with the infamous pitfalls for wayward shots that have become synonymous with the Dye name. Both beautiful and treacherous, the Dye Course is an experience you won’t soon forget.
Famous architect Pete Dye maintains his reputation of building both memorable and challenging courses with the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort. The Dye Course is the longest, and toughest, of the four Barefoot golf courses at 7,343 yards. Pete Dye incorporated some of his signature techniques into the design. He has a unique way of utilizing native grasses and throughout the course you'll find his trademark pitfalls that swallow errant shots.
The semi-private facility in North Myrtle Beach is set amidst the backdrop of the exclusive Barefoot Resort and surrounded by The Dye Estates, a private, gated community.
Pirate’s Voyage

Surrounded by old-growth forests and pristine lakes, this farmland was converted to a top-notch golf course without losing its down-home appeal. The scenic vistas are worth a sight-seeing visit, but you will want to bring your clubs.

Clark’s Seafood & Chop House
Offering steaks and seafood, enjoy your evening out watching the sunset over Coquina Harbor at Clark's Seafood & Chop House. This by far is one of our favorite places to dine in the NMB area. It is just a few minutes north of NMB in Little River. Look for the big sign on the right after you go across the big bridge. If you get to McDonalds, you have gone too far. Turn around and go back. It is worth it!
We love the filet and ribeye steaks at Clark's. Their house salad is always good. If you like scallops, you should try them bacon wrapped. Its one of their signature appetizers.
Clark's would definitely be on our list of fine dining establishments in the Grand Strand. When you come to the beach and want something special, try Clark's Seafood & Chop House.

Litchfield Country Club
Litchfield Country Club is one of the original eight courses built on the Grand Strand. Over the years, the course has evolved, and changes have been made but for the most part, Litchfield Country Club has maintained many of its original features, including player-friendly green complexes.
For obvious reasons associated with the lack of length, the course has been highly regarded by women and seniors. However, a country club environment without the country club price has made it attractive to everyone.
Willard Byrd’s original design, one applicable to the well-rounded, won’t beat up most players. It also isn’t crafted toward the big hitters, measuring at less than 6,700 yards from the back tees.
Litchfield's natural Lowcountry beauty has attracted golfers from around the globe. Set amongst towering oak and pine trees, the course is regarded by many as a shot-maker's course, with several doglegs that require well-placed tee shots in order to have the best angle into some well-protected greens.

The voyagers finally crash-landed in a canyon which they soon discovered was inhabited by creatures thought to be extinct….DINOSAURS! Professor Hacker immediately discovered the coordinates of his location and sent for his ship, the R.S. Jurassic Explorer. While waiting for his ship, the professor decided to explore the area. When he came back to the area where the ship was supposed to be, he discovered that the ship had been beached on some rocks. When you open your Domino's pizza box, you want to be 100% sure that you're going to bite into a made-to-order pizza that's all yours, one with an oven-browned crust, blankets of hot melty cheese, and mounds of savory meats and delicious vegetables. Your crunchy thin crust, hand-tossed, fluffy Brooklyn-style, or gluten-free pizza crust is prepared and smothered in the sauce of your choice.
