Myrtle Beach Marathon
The Myrtle Beach Marathon is an annual tradition that attracts thousands of people from all over the country. The course is described as fast, flat and absolutely beautiful. Many runners use it as their qualifying race for the Boston Marathon.
In light of the pandemic, the 24th running of the Myrtle Beach Marathon will look a little different with new options to maintain health and safety of participants.
Date: Saturday, May 1, 2021 – All Marathon, Half Marathon & 5k participants will race.
Location: All distances will start on Robert Grissom Parkway just South of the intersection of Grissom Parkway and Monticello Drive.
Start Times:
The first corral start times for each distance are below:
Wheelchair and Crankchair at 6:25 AM (Full & Half); 7:35 AM (5k)
Marathon first corral will start at 6:30 AM
Half Marathon first corral will start at approximately 6:46 AM
5K first corral will start at 7:40 AM
Please note: Spectators will not be permitted at the start or finish line in 2021!
Time Limits:
Marathon: 1:30 PM
Half Marathon: 10:20 AM
5k: 10:20 AM
