The food is good, and the staff are very friendly. They serve chicken wings, quesadilla, nachos, burgers, sandwiches and many more. They have a lot of TVs on each corner for game watching. Their beer selection is outstanding and earned a lot of good feedback from their customers.
Bully’s also has pool tables, darts, Golden T and bowling machines for you. They have Happy Hour where drinks and food can be availed at a discounted price.
Filet’s Waterfront
Filet’s has been a local and tourist favorite for years.
With them, you can relax on the shore of the Intracoastal Waterway and enjoy some of the best steaks, seafood and sushi on the Grand Strand. It is the perfect place to celebrate any occasions whether it is date night, a birthday, anniversary or a special group outing.
They have Nightly happy hours and water views indoor or outdoors. Steaks and chops are what this place is known. Featuring hand-cut filets of prime beef, you’ll be tempted to go for the surf and turf even if your surroundings suggest seafood.
They are open 6 days a week beginning at 4pm and close time depends on business. Happy Hour daily begins at 4pm.
Grumpy Monk
The Grumpy Monk is a local establishment that is famous for their Craft Beer. They even won the Best Craft Beer award on a certain competition.
This restaurant offers variety selection of food, such as burgers, sandwiches, flavored chicken wings (cooked in their own style), beef, shrimps, turkey, pork and many more. They have their separate menu for Sushi, one of their best-sellers and a special menu for vegans and vegetarians. They also offer an option for you to create your own salad depending on your preference of ingredients, oil, and dressing. Your kids will also enjoy your dining experience because The Grumpy Monk has a Kids Menu on their menu.
They also offer a separate Menu for the Happy Hour which you will surely enjoy. Happy hour runs daily from 4–7 p.m. with discounts on food and drink.
Their bar is separated from the large dining room by a water feature and the beer tap waterfall at the entrance makes for a spectacular welcome. An outside deck stays packed when the weather cooperates.
They are open daily at 11 a.m. and serves food until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on the weekends.
Buoy’s on the Boulevard
Located right off Main street in North Myrtle Beach, Buoys on The Boulevard has been there since the 50s and has a ton of history. They guarantee a fun environment with great music, fantastic food and outstanding service.
They are the home to mouthwatering burgers, fresh seafood, sushi bar, indoor and outdoor bar, and music around the clock. Buoys on The Boulevard’s menu features a variety of items: appetizers, salads, nachos, tacos, burgers, seafood platters, low country boils, crab legs, oysters and more. A little something for everybody. They even have a licensed sushi chef at the sushi bar and their full bar serves beer, wine, cocktails and fun frozen adult beverages as well as a virgin line for the nondrinkers. They use the freshest ingredients such as Certified Angus Beef Brand burgers and steak meats.

Joe’s Bar and Grill
Joe’s Bar and Grill is a North Myrtle Beach staple for over 30 years. They are open and serving both indoor and outdoor dining. Their Racoon Cove Deck Bar has become the Grand Strand’s best kept secret.
The restaurant has a rustic unique atmosphere, similar to a hunting and fishing lodge you might see in the mountains of upstate New York. They are nuzzled in between twisted live oak trees overlooking a beautiful salt tidal marsh. Their three dining areas plus two bars take full advantage of the view.

Buffalo Wild Wings’ menu items cover wings and several different flavors to tempt any taste, but you can also enjoy many other items. They have wraps and sandwiches, different kinds of salad, burgers (their best-seller is the Buffalo Blue Burger), nachos and onion rings, and desserts like cheesecake bites and chocolate fudge cake.
Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival
Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival draws hundreds of food trucks from across the Grand Strand and other coastal areas for locals and visitors to enjoy. Beyond delicious food trucks, the event boasts cold beer, live music and a kids’ zone with games and prizes.
The Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival is held at the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place between 8th and 9th avenue on the Boardwalk.
Given the national and local health concerns, the annual Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival has been canceled. Festival staff has their eyes set for a 2021 Food Truck Festival. There is no rescheduled date for this event at this time.
Carrabba’s Italian Grill
Carrabba’s Italian Grill is a chain restaurant and bar serving a diverse menu of classic Italian fare in a family-friendly setting.

Dining at Umberto’s is like joining a large Italian family for a feast. The mood is casual and festive and the service is formal and friendly. They are the Italian Restaurant of choice at Barefoot Resorts and Barefoot Landing.
Their goal is to provide exceptional food and service with a personal touch to each and every customer. Umberto’s puts its own unique spin on traditional Italian cuisine and also offers an abundance of surf and turf.
Their style of dining experience begins with an Italian beans and greens followed by salad. Prior to your entree, they also serve angel hair pasta in their homemade marina sauce. They have a selection of made to order desserts such as cannolis and their family style Ninas surprise. Umberto’s has a wide selection of beef, pork and lamb chops, plus the house special Steak Scampi topped with shrimp and lemon-butter sauce. Veal and chicken specials served with fresh pasta, soup, salad and bread come with the large portions. One of their specialty, the Ossobuco Milanese is so good it will keep your family coming back.
They still offer all the traditional Italian favorites, such as pizza, spaghetti and lasagna, so it’s a great place for picky kids and adults with a taste for something special.
The Shack

The Shack was established in 2010. They are dedicated to providing you with some of the best Southern style cooking and Calabash style seafood in town. The food is like something you can only get at your grandmother’s house, a true Southern cooking, especially for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage, country ham and grits are among the many house specialties available every day.

Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Café is an All-American cafe that features a wide variety of savory steak burgers, seafood, sizzling steaks, along with fresh salads and delicious comfort foods such as Twisted Mac & Cheese with Chicken.
The cafe is easy to spot; just look for the 40-foot-tall red guitar that sits proudly atop their main entrance. Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach at the award-winning Broadway at the Beach entertainment complex, the Cafe is only a few minutes from beautiful resort beaches.
You and your friends can catch some of those cool ocean breezes, then dine outside on one of their spacious outdoor patios or balconies. You can dine and join them for hours of great food and timeless music.
One of the highlights of their cafe is the music history on its walls. When you step into their state-of-the-art cafe, you will notice all the rock and roll memorabilia that surround you, including boots worn by the Godfather himself, Mr. James Brown, and an outfit worn by Lady Gaga. MOTO’s Bar – Murphy’s Bar & Grill
There are several options to eat in Cherry Grove at the end of Sea Mountain Highway. When you get to the light, look to the right and you will Murphy’s. When it first opened, the locals and staff were calling it MOTO’s, which was short for Murphy’s on the Ocean. The former place of business for many years was called HOTO’s. HOTO’s is now located in Ocean Drive.
Murphy’s is now going by the name “Murphy’s Bar & Grill”. You may see it listed on social media as “Murphy’s on the Beach”.
They feature live music most days. Check them out for Happy Hour and Food Specials. If you ride by, they have a big blackboard on the side of the building with daily specials. The location is great with a great view of the ocean in Cherry Grove. During parts of the year, you may find it is a big draw to bikers. Murphy’s does have its fair share of parking compared to other places in the area. There are shared lots and paid lots close by.
It is one of the places that is open year round, so give it a try the next time you are in North Myrtle Beach.
Miyabi Japanese Restaurant
Miyabi Japanese Restaurant initially stands above its competitors for no reason other than being unique.
If you are in the mood for Teppanyaki-style food, this is your option. Experience the entertainment and fun factor of a Teppanyaki grill. The main attraction here is their Sushi. They are vegetarian-friendly and offer vegan and gluten-free options.
Many Teppanyaki-style grills skimp on the meat, or on some other ingredient. Not here, however. It’s practically guaranteed that you’ll take food home with you.
The cleanliness and upkeep of the building itself were both impeccable. The southern states are known for their courtesy and hospitality, which shows throughout the meal.

The Boundary House
The Boundary House offers American cuisine and casual dining at its finest.
They take great pride in their handcut steaks, fresh local seafood and their homemade soups, salads, and dressings. They serve some of the finest foods from the highest quality ingredients available. All of their items are made fresh to order.

The Wicked Tuna
Wicked Tuna is located at the southern end of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk on the 2nd Avenue Pier. Its perfect location offers great views of the ocean.
Everything Wicked Tuna serves is based on the idea of “hook to plate,” bringing fresh, everyday seafood catches to Myrtle Beach diners. Many different culinary avenues can be taken here, from classic dishes with a contemporary twist to entrees and salads completely unique to Wicked Tuna. The menu is more or less divided into two sections, a Grill menu and a Sushi menu, with various subsections on each. Wicked Tuna offers a different style of fare than many of its neighbors. Their specialties are creative sushi rolls, fresh fish, and marbled USDA Prime steaks.
You can pair your dish with a selection from their exclusive wine and sake list and you have an unforgettable evening. They have created a unique culinary experience for you, incorporating innovative cuisine and excellent service from a one-of-a-kind, dedicated staff.
The interior there is a contemporary twist on the standard fishing town decor that is common throughout Murrells Inlet. A vibrant sea blue theme spread throughout the dining room, appearing on bar panels as well as on the walls, but a hardwood ceiling and various nautically themed artifacts that will remind you that you’re still in the old rod-and-reel village.
Snooky’s on the Water
Enjoy a cold drink and some good food while watching the boats cruise up and down the intercoastal waterway, serving, seafood, wings, salads, sandwiches and a variety of desserts. Snooky’s on the Water is one of 2 locations for Snooky’s. In 2019, they opened their second location which is located in Cherry Grove.
The Little River location of Snooky’s features a really good menu. If you like raw and steamed seafood, this is one of these places that locals visit. They have seafood towers that feature crab legs, oysters, shrimp, and crab claws. This is one of our favorite things on the menu. If you are looking for a place to grab brunch and a Bloody Mary on Sunday’s, you should check out Snooky’s. Try the Shrimp & Grits for Brunch!
When the season kicks in, be on the lookout for their Entertainment schedule. They feature a lot of the local artists that play a variety of music.
Clark’s Seafood & Chop House
Offering steaks and seafood, enjoy your evening out watching the sunset over Coquina Harbor at Clark’s Seafood & Chop House. This by far is one of our favorite places to dine in the NMB area. It is just a few minutes north of NMB in Little River. Look for the big sign on the right after you go across the big bridge. If you get to McDonalds, you have gone too far. Turn around and go back. It is worth it!
We love the filet and ribeye steaks at Clark’s. Their house salad is always good. If you like scallops, you should try them bacon wrapped. Its one of their signature appetizers.
Clark’s would definitely be on our list of fine dining establishments in the Grand Strand. When you come to the beach and want something special, try Clark’s Seafood & Chop House.
Hurricane Colinz Restaurant
With a combined 40 plus years in the Bartending/Restaurant Industry, Colin and Genene Muirhead are making a name for Hurricane Colinz. Striving for perfection, with both the menu and the guests, they are unparalleled in the industry.
They serve amazing food and offer great service that it can be compared to 5-star restaurants. They have a beautiful bar area and one of the best locations at Cherry Grove. There’s indoor and outdoor (upper deck with ocean views) seating, food is absolutely spot on. The bar’s great vibe combined with proper cocktails is just perfect.
We love this place and highly recommend Hurricane Colinz when you are visiting North Myrtle Beach, looking for a good place to eat.
Eugene Platt’s Seafood
Eugene Platt’s Seafood is Grand Strand’s largest and oldest fresh seafood market. They are proudly serving the Grand Strand since 1970.
They are dedicated to bringing their customers the highest quality fish and seafood available every day. They feature live lobsters, blue crab, oysters, clams, shrimp, and a bountiful selection of whole and filleted fish.
They also have groceries, own homemade salads & sauces, fresh produce, beer, ice and bait and tackle. They work hard to maintain the high standards of quality, cleanliness, and service that their customers have come to expect.
Their friendly staff are very approachable. They are very knowledgeable about seafood and its preparation and are happy to answer any questions you have and give you recipe idea. Their kitchen closes thirty minutes before the store closes so please take note of that if you plan on ordering cooked food.

Coconuts Tiki Bar
Coconuts Tiki Bar is the “Home of the Naked Turtle” in North Myrtle Beach. Their famous and best-selling drink is a mix of Naked Turtle Rum and strawberry, mango, or peach mixes.
They offer nicely cooked tuna, pasta salads and steak sandwiches. One of their popular food is the 3 flour tortillas stuffed with our grilled or blackened chicken, fish or shrimp finished with a Thai peanut coleslaw called, Tiki Tacos.
Coconuts Tiki Bar’s great location makes it easy to reach by any transport. Their staffs are efficient at Coconuts Tiki Bar. Commendable service is something clients appreciate here. Their food comes in average prices. Most customers are faithful to this place because of the lovely atmosphere.
HOTOs – Harold’s on the Ocean
HOTO’s – Harold’s on the Ocean features fresh catch seafood from longshot fishing, burgers, wings, wraps, sandwiches and more.
Their location offers one of the best views on the beach. You can dine outside or inside at HOTO’s Harold’s on the Ocean, inside of OD Beach and Golf Resort in the Heart of Ocean Drive, North Myrtle Beach. Earning its reputation with a friendly staff, laid-back décor and an amazing beachfront patio area filled with live music and laid-back vibes, this bar has been voted “Show Club of The Year” multiple times by the Carolina Beach Music Awards and also heralded for its summer concert series.

They also offer catering services. They have the food and the staff to cater to groups of all sizes. Their restaurant has two banquet facilities set in an authentic log cabin with a towering stone fireplace. It is an ideal setting for meetings, reunions, office gatherings, birthday parties, anniversaries, holiday galas, and wedding functions.
International Cafe
International Café is a must-visit bar and grill to grab a quick bite to eat and have some drinks.
It is located at the Main Street between the We R Sweets Candy shop and the Clothes Center. This bar and grill is serving the locals and tourists of North Myrtle Beach since 2003.
This bar and grill features beer, wine, specialty drinks and a menu from around the globe. The atmosphere here is great and the service is extraordinary. This is a recommendable place to anyone.
In the summer, they tend to stay open a little later than the other clubs so a quick bite late night may be the best thing around. They have good food and it’s a cool place to hang out on Main Street.
Margaritaville
Margaritaville Myrtle Beach Restaurant is home of American grub and tropical drinks served in colorful, island-themed digs with a boat for deck seating.
They are at the center stage of Broadway at the Beach, South Carolina’s award-winning entertainment destination. Over the years, Sea Captain’s House offer superb dining, fantastic ocean view, and warm southern hospitality. Up to this day, they are still known as the place for seafood where friends meet year after year. Their dedication to quality has been the foundation on which they have preserved their heritage.
To preserve old traditions, but also remain competitive in today’s time, they are dedicated to offering local and always “Be Fresh” products. Sea Captain’s House is a restaurant that offers a variety of menu options, including omelets, pancakes, French toasts, muffins, sausage, and beverages. Its lunch and dinner menu features appetizers, soups, desserts, and salads. The restaurant also serves French fries, fruits, and baked potatoes. In addition, Sea Captain’s House offers juices, shrimp, scallops, oysters, fried chicken fingers, sandwiches, grilled cheese, pasta, and hamburger steaks for children.

One of our favorites in Cherry Grove, Duck Dive Bar & Grill offers sandwiches, burgers, salads and more. We think they have some of the best chicken wings in the area. They usually have happy hour specials and specials of the day.

Fat Harold’s Beach Club is the home of cocktails, Shag dancing, best DJs, great food, and friendly staff. They are one of the locals and tourists’ favorite hangouts.
Fat Harold’s has the cure for your cravings in the Shag City Grill. They serve great burgers and hot dogs fresh off the grill and French fries and chicken wings out of the deep fryer. The house special is the Fried Bologna sandwich, topped with mustard, onions, slaw, BBQ sauce and whatever other toppings you feel like wiping off your chin.

If you are looking for an indigenous spot to take visitors for a multi-dimensional dining experience, The Parson’s Table is a one-of-a-kind venue serving up equal parts history, reverence and some artful cuisine.

House of Blues Murder Theatre
The very first House of Blues opened its doors in a converted historical house in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1992 and is home to live music, original folk art, and delta-inspired cuisine.
Featuring family-friendly interactive comedy in a classic “who dunnit”-type show, the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater makes for a fun dinner and entertainment experience while visiting Myrtle Beach. During each meal, a fake murder takes place, and guests are in charge of determining who the killer is. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal throughout the entire event. The event is recommended for ages 13 and above. Audience participation is part of the show.

The House of Blues bar is dedicated to showcasing a unique blend of classic and contemporary specialty cocktails, spirits and craft beer. Touring acts play in the music hall while local and regional acts hit the stage in their restaurant and bar or on “The Deck”. The restaurant and bar is adorned with signature original folk-art – part of the world’s largest collection – combined with the House of Blues legendary hospitality and tantalizing southern-inspired cuisine.
Hoskins Restaurant
When you travel down Main Street in North Myrtle Myrtle Beach, you will probably notice a line at breakfast, lunch and dinner at Hoskins. This is where the locals eat and one of the best places for lunch specials and fresh seafood. They are closed on Sunday Nights and all day Monday. They also close for a couple of hours Tuesday to Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 to get ready for the dinner crowd.
If you come to the beach in the winter time, you may find them closed for the off season.
Hoskins is one of our favorite restaurants. We eat there at least once a week when we can get away from the office.
Deckerz Bar & Grill
Decks and Decks and Decks
One of the best places in NMB to grab a burger and cold drinks. Go by and see the great staff and get some great food. On most nights, you will find a live band and/or a DJ playing some music. The club has won show CBMA Show club of the year three times and been nominated many times.
Deckerz is the Home of King Tyrone & the Graveyward Ramblers.

Key West Crazy Waterfront Restaurant & Bar
Key West Crazy offers seafood, steaks, your favorite “pub grub”, great drinks and more. They were voted as the restaurant that offers the “Best Seafood” in the Waterfront.

King Street Grille
Located in the Market Common in Myrtle Beach, King Street Grille is an upscale sports bar with great beers, a scratch-made menu and great atmosphere.
King Street Grille fits right into the Market Common neighborhood, giving visitors a casual sports-bar option in an upscale shopping district. Guests can sit outside on the patio deck, in the dining room or at the bar without missing any of the action on the many TVs scattered throughout the establishment.
They are offering lunch, dinner, kids’ menu, entrees, burgers, sandwiches and more. They happily offer indoor and outdoor dining, to-go menu and UberEats delivery.
Their King’s Wings are famous, featuring unique flavors like Sweet Tea, Honey Mustard and Bacon, Thai Peanut and Old Bay, just to name a few of the 20-plus sauce options. The burgers are also popular picks, featuring the Texas Heart Stopper with a ton of toppings and a fried egg atop Texas toast. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and Sliders loaded with bacon, cheese and grilled onions. All their steaks, ribs, pork chops, chicken and burgers are chargrilled and cooked to perfection. The Grill House is a gem of a place for outstanding atmosphere and food. Chris’s Pizza and Pub
Chris’ Pizza & Pub is a place to not only eat good food but also a place for the community to come together, to swap stories, enjoy each other’s company, a place where everyone can feel welcome. Their philosophy is simple, “source the best ingredients, make the best food, and sell it at a fair price”.
Aside from their famous and best-selling pizza, there are other delicious food on their menu. They have burgers, wraps, salads, sandwiches, corn dogs, lasagna, spaghetti, soups, and yummy boneless chicken wings. They also have their own Kids Menu for your little ones.
They offer Happy Hour Food Specials available Monday-Friday 4-7pm.

Friendly’s is a place to go to feed the whole family on a budget. This is a great place to take the family, especially if you have some younger ones in the group.
For breakfast, Friendly’s serves twists on all of the standards like Bananas Foster Pancakes, Red Velvet Waffles, Brioche French Toast, and the Lumberjack Breakfast, which consists of three eggs, bacon or sausage, and pancakes or French toast. Other breakfast items include Omelettes, Scramblers, SuperMelt Sandwiches, and Healthier Options like oatmeal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. The Entrée menu includes popular items like Fish & Chips, Chicken Parmesan, and Fish Tacos, along with other options like Turkey Tips with fresh broccoli and rice pilaf, and the Signature Clam Boat, which consists of clam strips with tartar sauce and lemon served over fries and cole slaw.

They had each been in the business for over 20 years but operated separate restaurants.
Classic food, spirits and entertainment is their passion. They always look forward to hosting the best dinner party on the beach every night of the week. That is why they are one of the locals favorite and vacationers must-try restaurant.
Their menu is creatively classic, highlighting their area’s local seafood as well as fresh steaks and pasta dishes. Daily specials and homemade soups are prepared from scratch daily for your enjoyment.
The list of appetizers is full of interesting dishes like Lobster Crepes, Filet Tips, and Mozzarella Melt, as well as standards like She-Crab Soup, Lump Crabcake, and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail. Four Salads are also available, including their House Special, Caprese, Caribbean and a Chicken or Shrimp Caesar. Outback Steakhouse
Outback Steakhouse is known for high quality, juicy steaks with your choice of big cuts and bold flavor, cooked just the way you like it. They are the home of juicy steaks, spirited drinks and Aussie hospitality.
The restaurant is family friendly and features an upbeat, boisterous dining environment.
All of their fried food is prepared using beef tallow, real butter and heavy cream and their hearty burgers are made from ground beef tenderloin. Although a number of menu items are grilled, steaks are prepared on a griddle using butter as a heat transfer medium.
They also serve Foster’s Lager, an Australian brand of beer exported around the world. Other Australian beers often served include Toohey’s New, Boag’s, and Coopers Premium Lager, Sparkling Ale, and Pale Ale. Wine selections include Australian wineries Yellow Tail, Lindeman’s, and Rosemount amongst others.
