Pirate’s Cove is known as one of the area’s top live music venues, with two stages and two floors full of dancing, bands, drinks, and fun. It is a must-visit spot in North Myrtle Beach among other clubs such as Pour House, The Cavalier Club and The Back Alley Lounge.
The live music at Pirate’s Cove Lounge ranges from rock, reggae, country, and everything in between. Hang out there and watch bands, variety acts, and solo singers perform for you.
The walls, the floors, everything is covered in wood and the dimly lit indoor bar is draped in neon lights and local flair. This, plus the helpful staff will put any visitor at ease right away.
They also have a deck that offers both covered and open-air seating areas so that you and your friends can take full advantage of the beachfront location. On top of awesome live music and bars and amazing amenities, Pirate’s Cove Lounge offers a full menu. This favorite spot is open every day for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snacks to go along with your drinks. The menu features favorites like salads, sandwiches, soups, burgers, seafood, country cooking, appetizers, and much more!
Texas Roadhouse Grill
Texas Roadhouse Grill offer an array of freshly prepared appetizers, soups, salads, chicken, burgers, pork, seafood, and steak entrees. They offer daily Lunch Specials along with a Kid’s Menu for your little ones. Their steaks are hand-cut and grilled to perfection. They offer some unique dishes like their Fried Pickles along with many traditional favorites for your whole family.
Texas roadhouse Grill is centrally located in Myrtle Beach. Their beautiful, Western style log cabin is in the middle of all the fun. They are located at the Coastal Grand Mall just seconds from shopping.
They offer a lot of dining spaces that can cater all your needs. They have comfortable booths and tables for privacy or family seating, upstairs open room for parties or meetings, and upstairs private room for parties or meetings.
They also offer catering services. They have the food and the staff to cater to groups of all sizes. Their restaurant has two banquet facilities set in an authentic log cabin with a towering stone fireplace. It is an ideal setting for meetings, reunions, office gatherings, birthday parties, anniversaries, holiday galas, and wedding functions.
Duck Dive Bar & Grill
One of our favorites in Cherry Grove, Duck Dive Bar & Grill offers sandwiches, burgers, salads and more. We think they have some of the best chicken wings in the area. They usually have happy hour specials and specials of the day.

MOTO’s Bar – Murphy’s Bar & Grill
There are several options to eat in Cherry Grove at the end of Sea Mountain Highway. When you get to the light, look to the right and you will Murphy’s. When it first opened, the locals and staff were calling it MOTO’s, which was short for Murphy’s on the Ocean. The former place of business for many years was called HOTO’s. HOTO’s is now located in Ocean Drive.
Murphy’s is now going by the name “Murphy’s Bar & Grill”. You may see it listed on social media as “Murphy’s on the Beach”.
They feature live music most days. Check them out for Happy Hour and Food Specials. If you ride by, they have a big blackboard on the side of the building with daily specials. The location is great with a great view of the ocean in Cherry Grove. During parts of the year, you may find it is a big draw to bikers. Murphy’s does have its fair share of parking compared to other places in the area. There are shared lots and paid lots close by.
It is one of the places that is open year round, so give it a try the next time you are in North Myrtle Beach.
The Parson’s Table
If you are looking for an indigenous spot to take visitors for a multi-dimensional dining experience, The Parson’s Table is a one-of-a-kind venue serving up equal parts history, reverence and some artful cuisine.
In their soulful restaurant, you can experience an award-winning dining in their historic setting. Throughout the development of their menus, they strive to provide you with the finest and freshest ingredients nature offers.
They also do their part to protect the environment by working with sustainable, organic suppliers locally and throughout the country. The award-winning Parson’s Table, housed in a former church, offers true fine dining in an atmosphere of elegance and intimacy. Beautiful stained-glass windows dot the interior, which is comprised of several individual rooms that are equally conducive to special family occasions and romantic dinners for two.
Menu choices include prime rib, bacon-wrapped filet mignon topped with bearnaise sauce and crab, sauteed shrimp with ham and vegetables over cheese grits, and sauteed shrimp and scallops in lemon butter with pecans and rice pilaf. Wine suggestions accompany each dish, or you may select something from the vast wine list.

King Street Grille
Located in the Market Common in Myrtle Beach, King Street Grille is an upscale sports bar with great beers, a scratch-made menu and great atmosphere.
King Street Grille fits right into the Market Common neighborhood, giving visitors a casual sports-bar option in an upscale shopping district. Guests can sit outside on the patio deck, in the dining room or at the bar without missing any of the action on the many TVs scattered throughout the establishment.
They are offering lunch, dinner, kids’ menu, entrees, burgers, sandwiches and more. They happily offer indoor and outdoor dining, to-go menu and UberEats delivery.
Their King’s Wings are famous, featuring unique flavors like Sweet Tea, Honey Mustard and Bacon, Thai Peanut and Old Bay, just to name a few of the 20-plus sauce options. The burgers are also popular picks, featuring the Texas Heart Stopper with a ton of toppings and a fried egg atop Texas toast. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and Sliders loaded with bacon, cheese and grilled onions. But those with more sophisticated tastes have a wide array of salads, wraps and starters to choose from, and top entrees like the Asiago-Crusted Filet or the Charleston-Fried Chicken stuffed with crab meat and ham bring people back for seconds.
Rockefellers Raw Bar
Rockefellers Raw Bar has been a staple in the North Myrtle Beach community for nearly 25 years. This roadside bar impresses eaters from all ages, especially those who are seafood lovers.
They are perfect for those who prefer their seafood in a more natural state. You can order from the raw bar or the steam kettles, featuring fresh shrimp, scallops or mussels in old bay and beer, garlic and wine or spicy marinara sauce. You can also tart with their signature Oysters Rockefeller or the peel-n-eat Priddy Spicy Shrimp, boiled in their signature seasoning.
What makes them unique is that they use boat captain’s chairs as their bar stools. Interesting, right? What’s more interesting is that they offer “Happy Hour” every day at 4pm until 6pm. You can avail food like shrimps, crabs, and oyster at a discounted price. Drinks like domestic bottle beer, house liquors, house wines, and Ruffino Pinot Grigio are also offered at a discounted price at these hours.

Duffy Street Seafood Shack
Duffy Street Seafood Shack is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Their cheery decor and fresh seafood offerings are sure to please everyone in your crowd.
For those looking for an authentic beach shack food experience, this is your what you are looking for. Crab cakes, calamari, buffalo shrimp, clam strips, Carolina flounder and a low country boil are just the beginning of what you can enjoy here.

Greg Norman’s Australian Grille
Greg Norman’s Australian Grille serves up mouthwatering dishes and an award-winning wine menu, all in an upscale, family-friendly setting that will leave you feeling like you are sitting in one of Sydney’s finest harborside restaurants.
Customers can enjoy waterfront dining for lunch and dinner daily and Sunday brunch. Perfect patio pours are served during Happy Hour al fresco or in the Shark Pub where you can fill your glass. Waterborne patrons can enjoy 225 of dock space adjacent to the restaurant deck.
They are pleased to announce that their live music is back. Join them on the patio every Friday and Saturday from 5:30-8:30 pm, weather permitting.

Snooky’s Oceanfront
One of the newest restaurants in North Myrtle Beach is Snooky’s Oceanfront in Cherry Grove. If you are looking to hang out and eat at an oceanside bar, you need to check out Snooky’s. They feature fresh seafood and offer daily specials. They are a full service restaurant for lunch and dinner. Happy Hour is 4 to 6pm. They have a brunch menu available on Saturday and Sundays. This is the second location for Snooky’s with the first being in Little River.
Parking can be hard to find in Cherry Grove down by the ocean, that is why Snooky’s offers a FREE Valet service. Just pull up and let them park your car. There are free lots and paid parking lots close to the restaurant if you don’t want to use the valet service.
A huge draw to Snooky’s is the second floor deck bar. You may find the bar service upstairs closed during the offseason. It gets rather chilly up on the second level. You can certainly go and check it out. They have inside seating and close the first level off from the wind during the wintertime. If you are here in the Spring and Summer, expect it to be hopping. With the views and incredible food, Snooky’s has quickly become one of the top spots in Cherry Grove.
Snooky’s on the Water
Enjoy a cold drink and some good food while watching the boats cruise up and down the intercoastal waterway, serving, seafood, wings, salads, sandwiches and a variety of desserts. Snooky’s on the Water is one of 2 locations for Snooky’s. In 2019, they opened their second location which is located in Cherry Grove.
The Little River location of Snooky’s features a really good menu. If you like raw and steamed seafood, this is one of these places that locals visit. They have seafood towers that feature crab legs, oysters, shrimp, and crab claws. This is one of our favorite things on the menu. If you are looking for a place to grab brunch and a Bloody Mary on Sunday’s, you should check out Snooky’s. Try the Shrimp & Grits for Brunch!
When the season kicks in, be on the lookout for their Entertainment schedule. They feature a lot of the local artists that play a variety of music.
OD Arcade & Lounge
OD Arcade & Lounge has been a popular hangout for visitors who love to dance, listen to live music, try their pipes at karaoke, or play all manner of games while having a good time or a bite to eat.
When it comes to grabbing a bite to eat, seafood is the main attraction here, with great deals on peel and eat shrimp and crab leg clusters for happy hour, not to mention daily specials on things like wings, tacos and ribeye. There is also an extensive list of “Munchies” for those looking for late night eats or just a quick snack and a cold drink. Filet’s Waterfront
Filet’s has been a local and tourist favorite for years.
With them, you can relax on the shore of the Intracoastal Waterway and enjoy some of the best steaks, seafood and sushi on the Grand Strand. It is the perfect place to celebrate any occasions whether it is date night, a birthday, anniversary or a special group outing.
They have Nightly happy hours and water views indoor or outdoors. Steaks and chops are what this place is known. Featuring hand-cut filets of prime beef, you’ll be tempted to go for the surf and turf even if your surroundings suggest seafood.
They are open 6 days a week beginning at 4pm and close time depends on business. Happy Hour daily begins at 4pm.
House of Blues
House of Blues is not just a place to grab a bite before a show, it is a place where you can see a live acoustic show several nights a week while enjoying a gourmet dinner.
Their menu draws its inspirations from across the South. The menu includes iconic dishes such as New Orleans jambalaya and gumbo, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, house-smoked Carolina pulled-pork barbeque, Memphis-style baby back ribs, and Delta fried chicken.
