MOTO’s Bar – Murphy’s Bar & Grill

MOTO’s Bar – Murphy’s Bar & Grill

There are several options to eat in Cherry Grove at the end of Sea Mountain Highway.  When you get to the light, look to the right and you will Murphy’s. When it first opened, the locals and staff were calling it MOTO’s, which was short for Murphy’s on the Ocean. The former place of business for many years was called HOTO’s. HOTO’s is now located in Ocean Drive.

Murphy’s is now going by the name “Murphy’s Bar & Grill”. You may see it listed on social media as  “Murphy’s on the Beach”.

They feature live music most days. Check them out for Happy Hour and Food Specials. If you ride by, they have a big blackboard on the side of the building with daily specials. The location is great with a great view of the ocean in Cherry Grove. During parts of the year, you may find it is a big draw to bikers. Murphy’s does have its fair share of parking compared to other places in the area. There are shared lots and paid lots close by.

It is one of the places that is open year round, so give it a try the next time you are in North Myrtle Beach.
