The course’s landscaping was nice and the theme, while basic, was cool. The ship and waterfall were interesting. Their mini golf is a nice garden setting with ponds all around and quite a bit of cool shade in places. The ice cream in their little shop was very good and the nice shade on the patio under the live oaks was a great place to sit and enjoy it.

Crow Creek Golf Club was created by architect Rick Robbins, a former Jack Nicklaus design associate. It has a charming layout set in the beautiful southern countryside.
Since opening in February 2000, Crow Creek has become one of the most popular destinations for golfers visiting the Grand Strand. They offer an enjoyable challenge for resort players from the regular tees, and the championship tees stretch the layout to more than 7,101 yards for low-handicap players.
Crow Creek’s practice facilities are excellent, as one would expect from a course that has a sizable membership in addition to its yearly vacation contingent of golfers. The practice facility includes a large grass driving range and two practice greens where players can hone their putting and chipping before and after their appointed rounds.
The charming southern style clubhouse offers a full-service restaurant bar and grill, a top area pro shop, and a gorgeous outdoor veranda where guests can enjoy the views.
Prestwick Country Club has the look and feel of a private club but is open to the public. The course was designed by Pete & P.B. Dye and includes some of the most beautifully sculpted holes in the area.
This Par 72 beauty plays over 7000 yards from the Black Tees. They have 6 sets of tees to fit every golfer’s game. Prestwick has been recognized as one of South Carolina’s top golf courses and remains enjoyable with extremely limited non-member play and great year-round course conditioning.
This scenic design features whispering creeks and small lakes serving as natural water hazards on the course, while man-made mounds and staggered bunkering serve as difficult obstacles in reaching the deep bulkhead greens.
You can also stop by their restaurant before or after your round and have something refreshing. They have clinics and lessons available for everyone, no matter your skill level. Individual lessons are available by appointment and can be on the range or on the course. Lessons are tailored to suit your needs.
The Pearl Golf Course is considered as the ”Gem of the Carolinas” in the world of golf.

The Pearl Golf Course is open to the public year-round and offers seasonal specials as well as golf packages for vacationers. Magic abounds in every corner of it. The Pearl is all about nature, joy, beauty and love. It exhibits fast rolling greens, finely manicured fairways and courses cut through the southern North Carolina forest and border the coastal marshland and Calabash River. This dramatic property has been enhanced with an array of gardens and water features that add to the difficulty and splendor of each hole.
Sharpen your skills with a session on the driving range or lessons from their golf pro. They also have a pro shop where you can find all the equipment you need.

River Hills Golf & Country Club offers one of the most unique and reasonably priced golf experiences on the Grand Strand. Its natural beauty, southern charm, excellent course conditions, friendly customer service, and overall value have put River Hills on the map of “must play” golf courses.
Designed by Tom Jackson, the golf course offers beautiful 18-holes with fairways that wander through a scenic, heavily wooded terrain. River Hill’s rolling hills, unusual for a coastal course, are this layout’s signature.
River Hills is a nice addition to any Myrtle Beach golf package. There are no parallel holes, creating the sense that you are alone on the course, and the layout and conditioning are always very good. The property has elevation changes that are unusual for a golf course, adding to its appeal to visit on a Myrtle Beach golf vacation.
A four-star layout, according to Golf Digest, River Hills is the type of firm but fair challenge that enhances any Myrtle Beach golf trip.

Hacker, also had a love for hot air balloons. During a recreational flight with a friend in 1930, the two found themselves caught in a storm that blew them miles off course. The voyagers finally crash-landed in a canyon which they soon discovered was inhabited by creatures thought to be extinct….DINOSAURS! Professor Hacker immediately discovered the coordinates of his location and sent for his ship, the R.S. Jurassic Explorer. While waiting for his ship, the professor decided to explore the area. Azalea Sands Golf Club is a classic North Myrtle Beach golf course and has the reputation of offering great golf for players of all skill levels.
Designed by golf course architect, Gene Hamm, this is one of the classics on the Myrtle Beach golf scene.
Azalea Sands offers well-guarded Bermuda greens and several water hazards scattered throughout the course. The par threes are challenging, and even low handicap golfers are likely to use every club in their bag while playing a full round at Azalea Sands. While there are certainly higher-end golf courses to schedule in your Myrtle Beach golf packages, Azalea Sands Golf Club offers a good value in a convenient location, especially if you are located in North Myrtle.
Their clubhouse and golf course have been recently renovated. They offer six sets of tee markets on the course. They also have a newly renovated restaurant and bar, offering a full menu of delicious food and tasty drinks.
Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club was designed by Tom Jackson and opened in 1974. The golf course offers a traditional layout that challenges golfers of all skill levels. Tree-lined fairways guide golfers through a beautiful natural landscape with strategically placed water hazards.
The course favors finesse over physical strength. Stay, learn and play programs are available for their guests.
Three-day programs can include daily instruction, rounds of golf each day, club fitting, lodging and breakfast.
Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club is located in Carolina Shores, North Carolina adjacent to Calabash. The club is only 30 minutes from downtown Myrtle Beach and is part of the Grand Strand golf community. The public is always welcomed to play at Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club.
Their staff works hard each day to provide southern hospitality to every player who chooses to spend their time with them.

This 6900-yard Clyde Johnston design is owned and managed by the same group that developed the fabled Heather Glen links and the service you have grown to expect from this organization is evident the moment you drive up to the clubhouse.
Locally, statewide or across both Carolinas, Glen Dornoch Waterway Golf Links has received top honors from publications such as Golf Magazine, Zagat’s and GolfStyles.

The course is a testament to the enduring nature of good architecture. The design and shape of each hole, in addition to the greens, are individually unique, making Surf Club an enjoyable round of golf.

They just only proved that they deserved to be the most awarded of all South Carolina and North Myrtle Beach Golf courses.
The Tidewater community sits high atop a peninsula overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Litchfield Country Club is one of the original eight courses built on the Grand Strand. Over the years, the course has evolved, and changes have been made but for the most part, Litchfield Country Club has maintained many of its original features, including player-friendly green complexes.
For obvious reasons associated with the lack of length, the course has been highly regarded by women and seniors. However, a country club environment without the country club price has made it attractive to everyone.
Willard Byrd’s original design, one applicable to the well-rounded, won’t beat up most players. It also isn’t crafted toward the big hitters, measuring at less than 6,700 yards from the back tees.
Litchfield’s natural Lowcountry beauty has attracted golfers from around the globe. Set amongst towering oak and pine trees, the course is regarded by many as a shot-maker’s course, with several doglegs that require well-placed tee shots in order to have the best angle into some well-protected greens.
