Their ropes courses were designed and constructed by Experiential Systems, Inc., a full-service challenge course and aerial adventure park provider that has been building courses and providing staff training and annual inspections for over 32 years. The expert staff members are trained to ensure a fun and safe experience. Explore a different side of Myrtle Beach and take in the great outdoors at the Radical Ropes Adventure Park. OPENING CEREMONIES – Beginning at 11AM a special opening ceremony will take place on the Palmetto Chevrolet Marina Family Stage. Join in the singing of the National Anthem, color guard presentation of the flag as we pay homage to our great nation and all those who serve her.

GOLF CART PARADE – Enjoy the  Patriotic Golf Cart Parade by watching or participating in this fun event at 11:30AM down 2nd Avenue to Marina Drive and Riverfront Park and back.

KIDS ZONE – Children can participate in the annual favorite Jello Jump, enjoy bouncy castles and water activities set up in the Conway Tennis Center Parking Lot. Activities will be held from 11AM- 8PM.

SANTEE COOPER BUSINESS EXPO – Visitors and locals are guaranteed to love the displays and information provided at the Business Expo. The Expo will highlight area businesses at the Marina Parking Lot from 11am-10pm.

FOOD & BEER GARDEN – While attending the festival choose from a variety of food vendors like tasty corn dogs to fabulous funnel cakes to delicious deep fried avocado bites to refreshing shaved ice treats. Better Brands Beer products are available at Riverfront Park Area only from 3PM-9:30 PM. To purchase beer or wine you must go to the Identification Booth, show your driver’s license for proof of age and you will receive a wristband. All beer and wine must be consumed in the Riverfront Park designated area.

COASTAL CAROLINA NATIONAL BANK ARTISAN MARKET – The Artisan Market will be filled with arts & crafts vendors from all over showcasing their wares for sale. Shop and browse at the Marina Parking lot from 11AM- 10PM.

THE CONWAY NATIONAL BANK FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA – In celebration of our Country’s independence, the Fireworks Extravaganza is a must see for young and old. Watch the sky light up with an explosion of colors beginning at 9:30 PM on Saturday, June 27th.

ADMISSION FEE – No admission fee is required for the Elm Street area activities (11AM-10PM). The Riverfront Park Area admission (3PM-10PM) is $5 per person and children 12 and under are free. Hands will be stamped for park re-entry once fee is paid

HEALTHCARE PARTNERS FIRST AID BOOTH – A first aid booth is available to assist with any festival mishaps that may arise.

ENTRY & SECURITY No coolers or PETS (except service animals) are allowed at Riverfront Park during Riverfest.

Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to watch the bands or fireworks.

THESE ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED – Smoking, public golf carts, bicycles, coolers and skateboards are not permitted in the festival area.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are pleased to announce their 2021 schedule.

The 120-game schedule, developed by Major League Baseball, will run from May 4 to September 19. The Pelicans’ home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, May 11 against the Augusta GreenJackets. The team will also host the GreenJackets beginning September 14 in the final home series of 2021.

The season features 20 series split evenly between home and road trips. Each series comprises six games for a total of 60 contests at TicketReturn.Com Field and 60 on the road. Additionally, every series will begin on Tuesday and end on Sunday with each Monday serving as a league-wide off-day.

The summer months continue to encompass the bulk of the Pelicans home schedule with 42 of the 60 contests played in June (14), July (16), and August (12). With only one exception, the Pelicans play at least one game per calendar week in the Grand Strand from June to August. Additionally, holiday home games for the Birds include July 3-4 and Labor Day weekend.

As the Pelicans transition into the new Minor League system they will largely face opponents from within the South Division which includes the Charleston RiverDogs (Tampa Bay Rays), Columbia Fireflies (Kansas City Royals), and Augusta GreenJackets. 2021 travel will be regionalized as an added layer of player safety. For the first time in franchise history, the Pelicans are in a league that includes other teams from South Carolina. New in-state rivals the RiverDogs, Fireflies, and GreenJackets will surely bring an added level of excitement.

The very first House of Blues opened its doors in a converted historical house in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1992 and is home to live music, original folk art, and delta-inspired cuisine.

Featuring family-friendly interactive comedy in a classic “who dunnit”-type show, the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater makes for a fun dinner and entertainment experience while visiting Myrtle Beach. During each meal, a fake murder takes place, and guests are in charge of determining who the killer is. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal throughout the entire event. There are several options to eat in Cherry Grove at the end of Sea Mountain Highway.  When you get to the light, look to the right and you will Murphy’s. When it first opened, the locals and staff were calling it MOTO’s, which was short for Murphy’s on the Ocean. The former place of business for many years was called HOTO’s. HOTO’s is now located in Ocean Drive.

Murphy’s is now going by the name “Murphy’s Bar & Grill”. You may see it listed on social media as  “Murphy’s on the Beach”.

They feature live music most days. Check them out for Happy Hour and Food Specials. If you ride by, they have a big blackboard on the side of the building with daily specials. The location is great with a great view of the ocean in Cherry Grove. During parts of the year, you may find it is a big draw to bikers. Murphy’s does have its fair share of parking compared to other places in the area. There are shared lots and paid lots close by.

It is one of the places that is open year round, so give it a try the next time you are in North Myrtle Beach.

The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that is sure to capture the true spirit of the season. The drive through light show will feature over 2 million lights festively displayed along a 2-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. Over 500 magical light displays, some up to 55 feet tall, have been custom made for The Great Christmas Light Show. It is a 65-foot 1993 Navigator tour boat powered by turbocharged Detroit Diesels, totaling 1500 horsepower. The Sea Screamer holds approximately 141 passengers.

Cruises are 1½ to 2 hours long. The tour encompasses 3 distinct experiences starting with a narrated cruise up the Intracoastal waterway. Then picking up speed and passing several uninhabited islands as well as the jetty heading out into the ocean. The second part of the tour is heading into the ocean to find and view the dolphins and the third part is picking up speed to view the beautiful coastline.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are pleased to announce their 2021 schedule. The 120-game schedule, developed by Major League Baseball, will run from May 4 to September 19. The Pelicans’ home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, May 11 against the Augusta GreenJackets. The team will also host the GreenJackets beginning September 14 in the final home series of 2021. The season features 20 series split evenly between home and road trips. Each series comprises six games for a total of 60 contests at TicketReturn.Com Field and 60 on the road. Additionally, every series will begin on Tuesday and end on Sunday with each Monday serving as a league-wide off-day. The summer months continue to encompass the bulk of the Pelicans home schedule with 42 of the 60 contests played in June (14), July (16), and August (12). With only one exception, the Pelicans play at least one game per calendar week in the Grand Strand from June to August. Additionally, holiday home games for the Birds include July 3-4 and Labor Day weekend. As the Pelicans transition into the new Minor League system they will largely face opponents from within the South Division which includes the Charleston RiverDogs (Tampa Bay Rays), Columbia Fireflies (Kansas City Royals), and Augusta GreenJackets. 2021 travel will be regionalized as an added layer of player safety. For the first time in franchise history, the Pelicans are in a league that includes other teams from South Carolina. When it first opened, the locals and staff were calling it MOTO’s, which was short for Murphy’s on the Ocean. The former place of business for many years was called HOTO’s. HOTO’s is now located in Ocean Drive. Murphy’s is now going by the name “Murphy’s Bar & Grill”. You may see it listed on social media as  “Murphy’s on the Beach”. They feature live music most days. Check them out for Happy Hour and Food Specials. If you ride by, they have a big blackboard on the side of the building with daily specials. The location is great with a great view of the ocean in Cherry Grove. During parts of the year, you may find it is a big draw to bikers. Murphy’s does have its fair share of parking compared to other places in the area. There are shared lots and paid lots close by. It is one of the places that is open year round, so give it a try the next time you are in North Myrtle Beach.

As the Grand Strand’s only 5-star comedy club, Comedy Cabana has been bringing in top national comedic talents since the mid-90’s, making it something of an elder statesman among area laugh clubs. Over the years, the Cabana has hosted comedians such as Lewis Black, Bob Nelson, Josh Blue, Tim Wilson, and so many more comedians from Comedy Central, Showtime, HBO, and other shows and networks. And with three new comedians scheduled every week, the list just keeps growing. Bring an appetite and a thirst for some boozy fun during your time at the Comedy Cabana. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase for those over 21, so if you are intending to drink be sure to bring your ID. Big M Casino Boat

If you like to gamble, the Big M Casino Boat allows you to cruise the Atlantic while gambling on the only casino in Myrtle Beach. During parts of the year, you will find two luxury casino yachts offering different times of departure.  Find your favorite table games; Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Let It Ride, and 3 Card Poker. The Big M claims to have newest and loosest slots. On the ride out and in, experience spectacular decks for sightseeing, and live entertainment. The Great Christmas Light Show

The Great Christmas Light Show is a park-wide lighted celebration that is sure to capture the true spirit of the season. The drive through light show will feature over 2 million lights festively displayed along a 2-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. Over 500 magical light displays, some up to 55 feet tall, have been custom made for The Great Christmas Light Show. Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Gardens offers a selection of tours, programs, and exhibits for all ages every day. You may stroll through the gardens on a guided tour or explore the beautiful spaces on your own. This beautiful landmark is a unique melding of art, nature, and history. This National Historic Site contains the country’s largest and most extensive sculpture collection of American Figurative Sculpture, much of it places in beautiful gardens. It is also a site for Lowcountry History and our Lowcountry Zoo, featuring animals native to their area. Legends in Concert

Legends in Concert Myrtle Beach at Broadway at the Beach features accurate impersonations of all of your favorite stars, including the Blues Brothers, Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, Alan Jackson, and Michael Jackson for an eventful music show experience. Children’s Museum of South Carolina

The Children’s Museum of South Carolina (CMSC) was started by Myrtle Beach community volunteers as the first children’s museum in South Carolina. In 2017, the museum merged with EdVenture, and in February 2019 they proudly opened their new location at Market Commons. The new, one-of-a-kind educational experience is tailored towards introducing children to the thrilling fields of aviation and astronomy. Located in the Market Common, this 3,000 square foot museum space is the smallest in the EdVenture family, but packs big fun and exciting exhibits into a one-of-a-kind experience. Patios Tiki Bar & Grill

Patios Tiki Bar and Grill is a fun and exciting little world where beer and rum cocktails flow like the current through the adjacent Intracoastal Waterway. They provide a great and friendly party, dining and entertainment hub along the intercoastal waterway where friends and family of all ages can come to have a great time. It is one of the locals and tourists favorite place to enjoy a quick bite, cold drink and a gorgeous view of the intracoastal waterway while listening to some local talent. They offer a variety of good food such as burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, paninis, quesadilla, steaks, shrimps, chicken wings, and many more. They also have a full sushi menu. It’s hard to imagine there is room on the Little River waterfront to squeeze in one more restaurant, but the new Patio’s Tiki Bar & Grill has elbow room to spare.

Ducks Beach Club is a Carolina beach music and shag club. It has a long tradition as being one of the premiers clubs offering live entertainment and drink specials. There is a grill at Ducks offering plenty of food to eat.

The Carolina Opry

The Carolina Opry is the only show to be named a “Top Attraction in Myrtle Beach” by CNBC. They feature a cast of over 35 of the nation’s most talented performers, this variety show spans all genres to bring you the best hits of yesterday, today and everything in between. The live music variety show features a cast of 36 of the nation’s top singers, dancers, comedians and musicians in its own 2200-seat show palace with state-of-the-art sound and lighting and three giant video screens. Their trips are small group events, and are a perfect way to get you out on the water and away from the large crowds.

Decks and Decks and Decks One of the best places in NMB to grab a burger and cold drinks. Go by and see the great staff and get some great food. On most nights, you will find a live band and/or a DJ playing some music. The club has won show CBMA Show club of the year three times and been nominated many times. Deckerz is the Home of King Tyrone & the Graveyward Ramblers. You have to try the Cheeseburger! It is one of our favorites in NMB

Sea Screamer

Enjoy a relaxing and educational cruise exploring the Intracoastal waterways and learning about the local ecosystems through The Sea Screamer. It is a 65-foot 1993 Navigator tour boat powered by turbocharged Detroit Diesels, totaling 1500 horsepower. The Sea Screamer holds approximately 141 passengers. Cruises are 1½ to 2 hours long. The tour encompasses 3 distinct experiences starting with a narrated cruise up the Intracoastal waterway. Then picking up speed and passing several uninhabited islands as well as the jetty heading out into the ocean. The second part of the tour is heading into the ocean to find and view the dolphins and the third part is picking up speed to view the beautiful coastline. 

Hawaiian Rumble – Miniature Golf

Rated the #1 Mini Golf course in the world, Hawaiian Rumble – Miniature Golf is centered around a tropical Hawaiian Garden with a massive 40-foot Volcano in the middle with the relaxing melodies from the best Hawaiian musicians. This Miniature Golf Hawaiian Style is for family fun, date nights, or personal events. This North Myrtle Beach putt-putt track is considered hallowed grounds in the world of par 2’s. With a few eruptions every house, the active 40-foot volcano is the main attraction here, and the course design adheres to a classic mini golf layout that lacks unnecessary obstacles like windmills and clown noses.
